Our ideal candidate will lead the Property Services and Facilities Branch, ensuring strategic management and operational delivery of safe, functional and community-focused property and facility services.The role involves managing branch operations, including budget preparation, resource allocation and program delivery with safety-first leadership. It also requires providing advice and negotiations on leasing, acquisitions, State land dealings, property market trends and cost-effective management of infrastructure.Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the operational management and service delivery for day-to-day council-owned facilities. They will lead the development and implementation of long-term property and facility strategies, initiatives and policies and procedures.As a senior leader, this role requires a strong understanding of property management, facility management, or related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in achieving strategic and operational objectives, demonstrated experience in operational service delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment, and proven capability in navigating real estate law, property titling and tenure matters.The role also demands established financial management skills, high-level inter-personal and communication skills, both oral and written to effectively lead a team to success.
