Our client a National Steel Reinforcing supply company to the infrastructure, construction and commercial Industries is looking to expand their team with a Permanent Dispatch Coordinator. It's an exciting time to join their growing team with new projects all over Australia

Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Dispatch person to join the team at Laverton North. You will be reporting to the Site Supervisor and will be responsible for the day-to-day distribution function of the business. You will lead and coordinate the dispatch activities and work with operations, sales and scheduling team members to ensure business requirements are understood and met.

**This role will include an EARLY start, usually 6.30am to 3.30pm.**

Pay Rate: $38 Per Hour - Temp to Perm.
- Managing and executing key operational activities to support our delivery plan and business performance.
- Ensuring assets and production capacity is available to meet demand.
- Liaising with drivers and customers to support smooth service delivery.
- Administrative work in the form of checking invoices, what has been billed etc.
- Responding to issues with dispatch and coordinating alternative arrangements as need.
- Minimum of 2 years' in a dispatch coordinator role or similar.
- A transport background (MUST HAVE).
- A resilient mindset and a focus on finding solutions.
- High levels of energy to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- A strong understanding of WH&S and how it relates to our drivers.
- Experience with using software - JDE and/or Excel would be beneficial but not essential.
