Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatch Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in data entry, and have experience with Microsoft Outlook and basic spreadsheet management in Excel.

This is an ongoing casual position that requires 5 hours of work per day, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards permanency after a probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage mailboxes through Microsoft Outlook
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and speed
  • Develop and maintain basic spreadsheets in Excel
  • Coordinate freight management, including booking freight, obtaining proof of delivery (POD) and estimated time of arrival (ETA)

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills across Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
