**About the opportunity**:
The primary responsibility of the Roster Co-ordinator is to ensure that administration systems facilitate effective facility management. All incoming contacts with the facility are to be handled efficiently and effectively; including telecommunications; personal contacts and mail.
The Roster Co-ordinator is accountable to the Residence Manager for the effective running of the administration area. You will ensure that administration systems facilitate effective residence management and will assist the Residence Manager with employee rostering and stock control using the Arcare order system as directed.
**The successful applicant must possess the following**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the health or aged care industry is highly desirable
- Previous experience in rostering highly desirable
- Ability to manage rostering and staff allocations
- Proficient in computers and use of software; including Microsoft office suite, Rostering Software (Time Target / Human Force), spreadsheets, databases and Outlook is highly desirable
- Administration Certificate / diploma or relevant tertiary qualification combined with experience in a relevant administration setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independency and provide proactive support within a team
- Hold an NDIS screen clearance, or the ability to acquire one
- All successful applicants will be required to have an influenza vaccination & THREE Covid vaccinations, as an inherent requirement of the role.
