Live Auction Operator

WHY WORK FOR PICKLES Stable and positive workplace team and culture This is a varied position which will keep you on your toes Training and development provided ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a reliable and fast learning person to join our Pickles Live team based on a rotational basis between our Head Office in Belmore, 2192 and our branch at Milperra, 2214.
This position is a casual role, working across Monday – Friday, with approximately 2-3 shifts per week (working around 6 to 12 hours per week).
Availability across Tuesday-Thursday is highly regarded as these are the busier days of the department.
In this busy role, your key responsibilities will include: Data entry of auction bids into our Live Online Auctions system Relaying information to an auctioneer by phone in a timely manner during Auctions, clear confident speaking voice.
Auctions are held in real time so a high level of attention to detail, ability to remain engaged, accuracy and quick thinking are a must General administrative duties associated with the auction process ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience: Meticulous attention to detail Reasonably fast typing skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Competent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word & Excel) Efficient, organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Training & Development – On the job training to make you an expert in your area, internal career pathing opportunities, and study assistance options to help you complete a course or qualification.
