Job Opportunity

This is a casual role as an Auctions Operator working across Monday to Friday, with approximately 2-3 shifts per week (working around 6 to 12 hours per week). Availability across Tuesday to Thursday is highly regarded as these are the busier days of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Entering auction bids into our Live Online Auctions system accurately and efficiently
  • Providing timely information to auctioneers via phone in a clear and confident manner during Auctions
  • Auctions are held in real time so a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and quick thinking are essential
  • General administrative duties associated with the auction process
  • Liaising effectively with relevant employees at branches regarding auction bidding
  • Flexibility in a casual role, with opportunities to be trained in other administrative duties as required
Requirements:
  • A positive, professional and engaging phone manner
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Reasonably fast typing skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Efficient, organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines
