About the role Reporting to the Director, Talent & Capability, and a key member of the leadership team, the Talent and Workforce Strategy Lead is responsible for leading the strategic workforce planning and talent management initiatives to ensure Lifeblood has the right talent, capabilities and leadership pipeline to deliver on its strategy. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to shape meaningful employee experiences while driving strategic impact. The role oversees enterprise-wide governance for identifying and developing high-performing talent, succession planning and leading workforce architecture initiatives. By leveraging data and insights, this role will align talent strategies with business priorities and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver a human-centred approach across all talent processes. Here's what we are looking for; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Minimum 5 years' experience in talent management, workforce planning, HR transformation, or a related HR role (experience in medium–large scale organisations preferred) Demonstrated experience building and executing talent initiatives Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives and manage competing priorities Strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and chart the best way forward Deep understanding of job architecture and its role in unlocking talent pathways, enabling skills-based workforce planning, and supporting strategic capability development. Proven experience using data and insights to shape talent strategies and inform workforce planning and decision-making. Skilled in partnering with key stakeholders to scale talent management, building on existing processes to amplify impact. Highly adaptable, with proven ability to influence and drive change in dynamic environments Passionate about people, with a commitment to enabling growth, development and career pathways across the organisation Technical acumen with the ability to connect people, strategy and data in practical ways This is a permanent position rotating between WFH and one of our Processing Centres. We have a preference for candidates based in Melbourne but are open to other locations across Australia for the right person. While full-time is ideal, we'd consider part-time (0.8 FTE).
