About the Role

The Department of Education's Workforce team is seeking a skilled professional to lead on various establishment and operational projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in talent acquisition, recruitment, and general HR within an early childhood education or government setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract quality candidates in hard-to-staff locations.
  • Coordinate and manage bulk recruitment processes using bespoke talent acquisition strategies.
  • Raise service delivery framework and document processes supporting recruitment and payroll services.
  • Support workforce development strategies by developing frameworks and guidelines.
  • Review and align HR policy with existing processes and forms.

Division Overview

The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. These centres provide high-quality, accessible, and inclusive early childhood education and care that is child-centred, focused on learning through play, and connected to local communities.
