
Rates Coordinator

- Coordinating the overall integrity and accuracy of Council's valuation and rating database.
- Ensure Council's land valuations register is maintained and reconciled regularly with NSW Valuer-General valuation data.
- Championing Council's TechnologyOne Property & Rating system and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and deliver an effective and efficient system including project participation and system upgrades.
- Embracing continuous improvement, effectively navigate changing environments and support others to evolve
Things You'll **Do**:
- Work closely with the Team Leader Revenue Management to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of annual rates/revenue outputs including the annual levy, rates notice issue and the pensioner subsidy claim.
- Coordinate the timely processing of supplementary land valuations, including the creation of new properties and accurate categorisation for rating.
- Assess and determine rating categorisation and/or property rateability in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Determine and/or action relevant transactional matters including but not limited to transfers, refunds, receipts, and the distribution of unallocated payments.
- Work closely with the Head of Financial Operations, Team Leader Revenue Management and the Receivables Coordinator to lead the team, embed a high performance culture, achieve the operational goals and deliver exceptional standards of customer service.

- **Hours of work**:Temporary Full Time. 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flexitime arrangement. Opportunity is expected to be available for up to 24 months.
