The role

SMEC is currently seeking a Drafter - Roads & Highways to contribute to the development and production of project deliverables in our _Perth_ team and assist on major civil engineering projects across ANZ. You will play a key role in providing top class design drawings to our clients.

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will be/have:

- 1+ years professional civil drafting experience
- Proven proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation software
- A proven understanding of Australian Standards and local regulations
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent professional tertiary Civil Drafting qualification
- Experience working on major transport (road & rail) projects in a similar role
