Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Drafter to join our team. As a Senior/Lead Civil Drafter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

Your primary focus will be on delivering projects for Main Roads WA, including highway and road infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure designs meet project objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Create high-quality civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
    • Ensure designs meet Main Roads WA standards and project objectives by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage detailed drawing sets, including plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detail sheets for tender, construction, and as-built purposes.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to less-experienced drafters within the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-12 years' civil drafting experience, with a strong focus on major highway and road infrastructure projects preferably using Western Australia standards.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and/or Microstation platforms.
  • Proven experience delivering projects for, or in partnership with, Main Roads WA, including familiarity with their Engineering and Technical Services Panel operations is highly desirable.
