We are seeking a highly skilled Civil CAD Drafter to join our team in Perth.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in delivering high-quality engineering solutions using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

This role involves preparing detailed civil engineering drawings for highways, interchanges, and roadworks, as well as ensuring compliance with Main Roads WA guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailed Design Drafting:
    Prepare high-quality civil engineering drawings for highways, interchanges, and roadworks.
  • MRWA Standards Compliance:
    Produce and review drawings to ensure alignment with Main Roads WA guidelines and protocols.
  • Documentation Preparation:
    Develop and manage detailed drawing sets, including plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detail sheets.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with civil engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated drawing packages.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5-12 years' experience in civil drafting, preferably on major highway and road infrastructure projects using Western Australia standards.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or Microstation platforms.
  • Experience delivering projects for Main Roads WA, including familiarity with their Engineering and Technical Services Panel operations.
  • A high level of accuracy in producing and checking drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
