**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role requires an individual who will bring with them strong and extensive leadership skills and experience within Airfreight.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure Airfreight Profitable Growth, Implementation of Operational Compliance, and be the essential profit driver on a national scale and will drive force in taking this division to the next level. You will be involved in sales - building key relationships, accounts and new client base.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily import operations to meet customer expectation and maintain a cost-effective operation.
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures.
- Ensuring all activities follow compliance and all local regulatory.
- Continuous review and improving operation quality.
- Procurement of all air related services and lead negotiation of rates and contracts.
- Manage the sales forces to achieve the sales target and ensure the utmost in client satisfaction.
- Build and lead the airfreight division and team locally.
- Involvement in sales - Build and maintain long term relations with new and exisiting clients, airlines and terminals.

**You will have**:

- Proven experience in an airfreight supervisory or management position.
- Extensive understanding of air operation experience is required.
- Strong in leadership, interpersonal, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Personable, energetic, and communicative as well as being organised and time efficient.
- Strong knowledge of command of documentation, procedures and rules for air cargo transportation.
- Cargowise experience preferred.
- High level of accuracy and the ability to prioritise workload cope under pressure.
- Relationship building with all stakeholders and who can work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Desire to be a part of/and appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working in a growing business.
