Freight Operations Manager

We seek a seasoned Freight Operations Manager to oversee the smooth flow of airfreight operations.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding airfreight operations (both import and export), proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise airfreight operations, including booking, documentation, and tracking of shipments, as well as customs clearance procedures.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, providing guidance and coaching as needed to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with airline carriers, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure seamless airfreight operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for airfreight operations, ensuring consistency and updates.
  • Provide regular reports on airfreight performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management.
