Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned airfreight professional to lead our Airfreight Product division. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and drive a team towards achieving exceptional results.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to oversee the operational management of several high-profile global customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly business review meetings with key customer stakeholders
  • Daily coordination of team activities across multiple customers - technology industry global accounts
  • Reporting interaction - excel spreadsheets
  • Commercial interactions with regional and local pricing desks and rate quote submissions to local customer
  • Overseeing daily tasks across your team

The successful candidate will have proven experience in import airfreight operations and be career orientated and driven to take their career to the next level.

Requirements
  • A Freight Forwarding professional with strong leadership skills
  • Team supervisory skills and abilities, including overseeing daily tasks and coordinating activities
  • Ability to proactively manage client relationships and identify and address customer issues or concerns, working collaboratively with the team to find effective solutions
  • Proficient in reporting and analysis using Excel spreadsheets
  • CargoWise system experience/exposure a huge advantage
