**About The Role**:
Based in Banksmeadow & part of Back Office Management, this role reports to the Pacific CEO, formulates environmental initiative strategies, sets & achieves innovative solution goals, advises and represents internal & external stakeholders on Sustainability.
**What you will be doing**:
- Working closely with Global & Regional Sustainability teams to develop, drive & implement Bollore Logistics Pacific's Sustainability Roadmap
- Design & deploy innovative solutions to achieve sustainability goals through partnering with an ecosystem of internal & external stakeholders (startups, SMEs, Government Agencies and Local Players).
- Work in collaboration with all functions & Senior Management (Front Office, Middle Office & Back Office) to implement governance, best practices & frameworks across operations
- Accelerate transformations through Sustainability Reporting & leveraging data
- Drive sustainability development by empowering staff with relevant training, process & tools
- Advise Senior Management on sustainability trends, regulations & innovations
- Represent the company in external and media by advocating sustainability
Essential:
- Tertiary education in Environment, Sustainability, Business or relevant disciplines
- In-depth understanding of Sustainability stakes in the Supply Chain & Logistics sector
- At least five years of in Environmental Sustainability or related work experience
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the Australian innovation eco-system (public agencies, institutes of Higher Learning & start-ups) is an added advantage
- Passion & constructive attitude towards Sustainability through pragmatism
- Experience in identifying customer needs & developing action plans
- Skills in the following areas: strategic thinking, change management & excellent communication, influencing & networking skills
- Enthusiastic, integral and leadership traits
