The Head of Strategic Communications at Schneider Electric, Pacific is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company's internal and external communication strategy

This is a pivotal role that will define and execute a communications strategy aligned with our business priorities, engage our people, and strengthen our external influence. You will play a key role in shaping how our purpose, strategy, and transformations are understood.

This position forms part of the Pacific Marketing Communications leadership team and reports into the VP Global Marketing, Pacific. This role partners closely with Pacific Zone and Country presidents, Executive team, Global Marketing, and Global teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging aligned with Schneider's purpose and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic adviser to business leaders, collaborating with business leaders to deliver impactful, purpose-driven messaging
  • Drive employee engagement and support change initiatives through clear, consistent, and inspiring internal communications that foster alignment and enable transformation
  • Partner with the Excutive team to help shape Schneider Electric's external engagement and institutional influence across the Pacific. Support ESG and sustainability leadership by translating data into compelling narratives
  • Develop and deliver high-impact communications for Pacific Zone executives, including speeches, presentations, and strategic messaging for external audiences. Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on communication strategy
  • Lead the development and execution of a thought leadership strategy that positions Schneider Electric and its leaders as innovators in energy management, sustainability, and digital transformation
  • Act as the communications lead during crises, coordinating with global and regional stakeholders to deliver timely, transparent, and reputation-sensitive messaging
  • Align content with global messaging while tailoring for regional relevance
  • Champion ethical, agile communication practices that reflect brand values and adapt to the dynamic needs of the business environment
  • Provide guidance and collaboration to internal marketing communication specialists and work closely with local, regional, and global Centres of Excellence to align on best practices and elevate communication capability across the region

What You will Bring

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Communication disciplines
  • Proven experience delivering impactful communication strategies
  • Experience supporting change management and transformation programs
  • Ability to distil fragmented communications, into structured strategic frameworks
  • Strong understanding of both commercial and business unit operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through communications
  • Strong collaboration and prioritisation capabilities
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Business
