Your new role will require your good reading, comprehension and numeric skills as well as a high level of accuracy.Salary$66,299 to $74,273 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight.

Find out more about working at Hornsby Shire CouncilAbout The RoleThe Records Management Officer position has three major components:Capturing, classifying, registering and tracking records and information within the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)Creating service requests within the customer request management systemScanning files and maintaining the hard copy file system.Position RequirementsKnowledge of Recordkeeping PrinciplesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailGood computer literacyGood written and oral communication skillsExperience in using TRIM Content Manager software or similar Records Management SystemAbout YouWe are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic person who can undertake allocated tasks within agreed deadlines.
An understanding of records management principles and relevant legislation is useful for this role in assisting Council staff to meet their legal obligations.
