An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing, privately owned, market leading wholesaler in this varied and dynamic role. As an Import Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the overall business and will be responsible for the coordination of all inbound stock into the company's owned and operated warehouse, as well as multiple 3PL sites across Australia and New Zealand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Approve, coordinative and monitor all import shipments as well as a small amount of export shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders to obtain and monitor shipping schedules, and provide instant quotation for any ad-hoc shipment based on negotiated rates with Courier/forwarding service providers.
- Manage inbound/outbound containers in conjunction with 3PLs across Australia and NZ, ensuring timely unload of containers to achieve dispatch of urgent customer orders.
- Regular review and tracking of purchase orders through to delivery
- Management of any discrepancies with quality, quantity and other delivery issues with suppliers.
- Daily contact with suppliers, internal and external customers, advise internal/external stakeholders of delays or quality issues.

**About you**:

- Mandarin speaking essential
- Previous experience working in an international logistics role
- Exceptional attention to detail and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Eager to learn and develop, make a positive impact, and maintain a proactive attitude
- Outcome-oriented mindset with emphasis on value addition and relationship building
