Import Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Import Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne on a full-time basis.

The Role:

Primarily, your role will involve managing the import process, working closely with clients nationally and internationally, carriers, customs authorities, and e-commerce platforms. This includes coordinating efficient freight transportation, managing import documentation, and communicating effectively with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients to organize cargo delivery arrangements and manage client enquiries.
  • Compiling and processing import documentation, including customs and quarantine paperwork.
  • Managing relationships with carriers and customs authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Communicating with transnational clients to arrange on-time freight transportation.
  • Supporting custom brokers and completing all required documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Service-oriented approach with strong customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting workload.
  • Bachelor Degree and Australian work authorization.
