As a Global Import Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of import cargo across all nominated ports and terminals. This involves providing excellent customer care and assisting customers with all import queries (arrival, trans-shipment, documentation, Customs, operational issues, etc)

You will coordinate with both internal and external parties, including Australian Government entities to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Your tasks will include performing change of destination, at customer's request, coordinating with Operations, Vessel Planners and Transhipment Teams to meet deadlines, managing invoice amendments based on audit requests, and ensuring customer complaints are reported to the Import Desk Team Leader and or Import Desk Manager

To succeed in this role, you will need to have completed year 12 or equivalent or tertiary qualifications in relevant fields. Additionally, you should have 1-3 years of experience in customer service roles and possess a customer-oriented approach with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Problem-solving skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers are also essential.
