International Import Specialist Opportunity

We are a leading logistics provider delivering comprehensive import solutions for global and domestic clients.

The Role:

  • Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to arrival.
  • Monitor import status to coordinate with clients and their requirements.
  • Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments.
  • Keep clients informed about their shipments and provide solutions on any changes/issues.
  • Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor and report shipment status/milestones.
  • Obtain and submit shipping documents to Customs department.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships/loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in imports within a freight forwarder or exports with potential to adapt to the Australian market.
  • Customer Service experience and focus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Dangerous Goods Certification is highly regarded.
  • Problem-solving ability, resilience, and a can-do attitude.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
