**Our Opportunity**
Due to continuous growth within the company, Nepean Power is looking for a Team Coordinator to lead the Flameproof department. The Flameproof Team Coordinator will drive all aspects of their assigned projects, including construction, installation, maintenance and repairs. This position will lead a team of up to 15 employees in our Thornton, NSW workshop.
Your duties will include:
- Efficiently delegating tasks for the Flameproof team, consisting of qualified Electricians, Apprentices and Trades Assistants.
- Partner with the Production and Engineering Managers to ensure workshop efficiency and provide solutions to any production or process challenges.
- Create estimates and report on projected jobs, including material costs and timelines for completion.
- Take responsibility for the training and development of staff with an emphasis on creating a safety-first mindset.
**The Right Person**
- Electrical Trade Certificate and knowledge of AS3800 standards and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including manuals, schematics, approval drawings etc.
- Previous experience leading small teams in a workshop environment or similar.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to get things done.
- Strong administrative ability with a sound knowledge of various computer software/programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Jira, PRONTO).
- Value safety, quality and strong customer service skills.
