Overview

We are looking for a proactive Team Coordinator/Administrator to join our Newcastle Business Advisory Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their skills and career while supporting a busy team. You will be responsible for all administration support including, recording and processing of mail (electronic and hard copy), diary management, maintaining the Greatsoft database, coordinating travel arrangements, coordinating training and catering for the business unit, preparation of accounting requirements, ASIC annual reviews, preparation and lodgments of ASIC forms, preparation and lodgments of new companies and trusts, processing ABN & TFN applications and other ad hoc administrative duties as required. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Business Advisory Services team
  • Record and process mail (electronic and hard copy); manage diary and schedule commitments
  • Maintain and update the Greatsoft database
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, training and catering for the business unit
  • Prepare accounting requirements and assist with ASIC annual reviews
  • Prepare and lodge ASIC forms and registrations, including new companies and trusts
  • Process ABN and TFN applications and perform other ad hoc administrative duties as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in or developing to a similar administrative role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience dealing with the ATO, ASIC and other government agencies is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a professional services environment is an advantage
  • Ability to juggle priorities in a strategic and efficient manner
