This organisation manages the land and water titles registries for the state of Queensland. Their purpose is maintaining the reliability and integrity of these registers, protecting people's most valuable assets.

They are currently working through a 24-month program of work containing interrelated projects and work packages to deliver technical and business change. The Project Risk / Finance Officer will work closely with the Program Manager, PMO and project / work package leads to forecast program budget and reconcile actuals and monitor and maintain the program risk registers including risk treatment plans. The Project Risk / Finance Officer will support project managers and team members report on project financials and risk management.

**DELIVERABLES**:

- The Program Steering Committee meets fortnightly. The role is expected to produce / update the financial spreadsheets and risk registers / treatment plans in a fortnightly cadence and allow 5-day lead time to submit meeting papers
- High / medium risks are reported to the Program Steering Committee, and the Program is governed by financial tolerances set at the Program Level.

**KEY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Input into monthly project progress status reports for projects and work packages, collating these for the committee to report on the forecast vs actual costs of the program, including projects and work packages
- Input into monthly project progress status reports for projects and work packages regarding risks (internal and external) and treatment plans
- Input into the overall program / workstream progress status reports for finances / risks
- Maintain the program registers, including risks and issues
- Assisting project managers and work package leads with financial management, including resource allocation, tasks and activities, estimated start and end dates, in the project schedule so that team members can forecast overall cost
- Assisting in program workshops and project workshops, including scheduling risk management workshops, and facilitating communication between the organisation's financial operational team
- Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as reconciling invoices billed at the work stream and project levels for accurate financials
- Acting as a point of contact for the program and responding to program and project queries from a wide variety of stakeholders
- Managing the program spend by reconciling a tracking spreadsheet
- Re-basing the budget
- Undertaking cost analysis on IT solutoins inbestigated by the program team
- Spend reporting - Developing fornightly reports on project spend
- Undertaking risk reviews with project members and the Program PMO
- Spend forecasts

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Qualifications**: Cert IV, Diploma in Project Management; Certification or Qualifications in Prince2, PMBOK or Managing Successful Programs

**Skills**: Advanced experience using MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, Office 365; Strong written and oral communication skills, and relationship management; Excellent organisation and time management skills; High quality reporting and presentation material development
