The Coordinator Flight Training Systems provides specialist advice required for systems enhancements and implementation, particularly the implementation of the new Qantas Flight Training Systems solutions - TPMS (Training and Performance Monitoring System) & E-File (electronic documentation system) system modules provided by Prodefis.
A key component of our system enhancement and implementation plans is the establishment of an IT support structure to conduct system integration testing, user acceptance testing and provide end-user support to the Qantas Flight Training business and systems user community.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with regulatory requirements by providing specialised advice on training process and procedures, functional testing and validating, reporting and analysing.
- Development of internal communications, guides and training for end users,
- Developing access controls and managing system maintenance and enhancements
- Flight Training System Issue Management and Resolution
- Act as an SME and point of contact for key stakeholders through the business, working closely with Project Managers, Training Managers, Flight Training Instructors and Facilitators, and Scheduling teams.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with IT (and IT support service providers) and Qantas Flight Training business partners, segment contacts and external vendors.
- End-user training and development
- Lead the development of suitable online and face-to-face awareness information sessions and familiarisation hands-on system training and/or information packs for distribution.
- Determine system Access Control matrix and capabilities
- Reporting and Analytics
What skills and experience you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business support, business systems, information technology or a related field in Aviation.
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge in generating process documentation.
- Basic experience in writing SQL queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across various levels in business.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support successful projects.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to design and host presentations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Information Technology or Aviation, or equivalent years of industry professional experiences.
