Flight and Cabin Crew Training Specialist

Crew training instructors are a vital part of our team, ensuring our Flight and Cabin Crew receive high-quality training.

This role involves researching, designing, developing and maintaining training materials to support our crew. Your expertise will also be required to deliver essential training and certification programs for both Flight and Cabin Crew.

You will collaborate closely with our team to provide comprehensive training support, including courseware development, delivery, assessment and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 121 regulations and other training requirements
  • Conducting regular reviews of training content to ensure effectiveness and quality
  • Designing and developing engaging courseware materials
  • Implementing tailored training packages that meet business needs
  • Developing and managing relevant documentation and certifications
  • Delivering high-quality training sessions to exact standards
  • Assessing and certifying crew members
  • Ensuring seamless execution of failure processes and removal from operational duties as necessary
  • Supporting new instructors on their pathways to CASA approvals
  • Providing feedback and appraisal to Flight and Cabin Crew during training or recurrent programs

Requirements:

  • Experience in course development, delivery and assessment
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Background in aviation industry (desirable)
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Proven success in providing constructive feedback and developing others
  • CASA Instructor approval (desirable)
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or Relevant Tertiary Qualification (desirable)
