Group Reservations Coordinator

CROWN MELBOURNE | FULL TIME

Join our Crown Hotels team and help create unforgettable, joyful guest experiences.

Our Group Reservations Team are responsible for managing the administration of group bookings including various segments for leisure, gaming, corporate and conferences. Our Coordinators will be closely liaising with our clients from the very beginning of the reservation stage through to our guests checking out. This is a great opportunity for a hotel professional to enhance their hotel experiences and knowledge.

The role will include coordinating the entire group stay, including attending client meetings, completing arrival information, coordinating check-in, guest in-house requirements and preferences, monitoring of both master and individual room accounts, check-out and departure requirements and follow up of any outstanding charges after departure.

Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in hotel operations or the travel industry
- Strong communications skills both verbally and written
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of a hotel property management system, preferably OPERA
- Strong product knowledge of Crown's Hotels and confidence in upselling
