Role Description

Join our team to become a key contributor in the development of innovative solutions for managing low demand and high distributed energy resources (DER) periods.
Contribute to developing work programs to improve AEMO's tools and systems.
Develop control room visualization interfaces using Python programming skills.
Collaborate with teams to identify priority areas for further system uplifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">
Proficiency in Python programming, preferably with experience in test-driven development and object-oriented programming.
Strong quantitative analysis skills, including problem-solving, modeling, and critical thinking.
Desirable: Experience running dynamic power system studies in platforms like PSSE, PSCAD, or PowerFactory.
Desirable: Tertiary qualification in software or electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and software development.
