**About the Role**
This is a newly created position within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring (CF&R) segment and will form an integral part of the Risk & Operations team which supports the Australian Corporate Finance & Restructuring business.
The CF&R Risk & Operations team has national responsibility for risk & compliance management including technical support, training and practice management. Working closely with the Risk & Operations Manager for Corporate Finance & Restructuring, you will contribute to the delivery of effective compliance and technical capability and drive, assist and enhance operational effectiveness for the Corporate Finance & Restructuring team nationally.
**What You'll Do**
Reporting to the Risk & Operations Manager, you will assist in the delivery of effective compliance and technical capability within the national team, including but not limited to the following key activities.
- Contribute to a proactive risk management culture
- Contribute to communications regarding insolvency updates, including a monthly newsletter
- Assist with national technical training initiatives, including ad hoc statutory training
- Assist with the updating of CF&R's national intranet resources page
- Assist with the development and implementation of ad hoc projects to drive process improvement and enhance efficiencies
- Assist with updating and maintaining checklists and precedents in the Checklists & Precedents Library
- Assist with preparing materials for monthly and ad hoc reporting and internal briefings/presentations
- Facilitate distribution of creditor/stakeholder correspondence for the national team using Eloqua
- Facilitate uploads to the FTI Creditors Portal on the corporate website
- Co-ordinate the end to end national records storage process
- Process conflict checks for the national team and liaise with the global conflicts team as needed
**How You'll Grow**
Working within a small team, this role will provide the opportunity to operate across a range of activities within a national setting, with exposure to staff at all levels, within an established, proactive and collaborative Risk & Operations function. This role will provide the opportunity to learn from an experienced team of innovative risk professionals, expanding on your existing risk, operations and project management skills.
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business or Law
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the insolvency and restructuring field
- Excellent computer literacy
- High proficiency across Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI beneficial but not essential)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task, self-manage and prioritise workload
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high level of professionalism
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- This role will require travel to the client and FTI offices
