Overall, a Strategic Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence, enhancing organisational performance, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation through strategic and efficient management of its operational functions.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Operational Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with individual centre objectives.
- Analyse market trends and industry developments to identify strategic opportunities.
- Provide strategic operational leadership across all centres.
- Create and execute a strategic operational roadmap for consistent and stable client experiences.

Process Optimization:

- Streamline and enhance operational processes in each centre to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize workflow.
- Design and implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

Performance Metrics:

- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure centre performance.
- Identify and establish goals and objectives for operations.
- Analyse centre data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Project Management:

- Plan, execute, and oversee centre projects contributing to operational excellence.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide project delivery advice and guidance, ensuring alignment with key measures and sustainable client experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with various departments (marketing, finance, client relations) for seamless coordination.
- Implement customer engagement strategies in partnership with Client Relations teams.
- Break down silos and promote a unified approach to achieving strategic goals.
- Collaborate with GMs, Operations Managers, and department heads to address challenges.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential centre risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement contingency plans to address unexpected challenges.
- Manage and report on key risks and strategic opportunities.
- Analyse data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

Centre Innovation and Improvement:

- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creative problem-solving and idea generation.
- Identify process innovation opportunities and implement best practices.
- Focus on centre segmentation and targeting.

Compliance and Regulations:

- Ensure operations adhere to industry regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Implement processes for compliance and risk management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in strategic operations management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
