Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing and supply of lubrication and fluid handling equipment in Australia. They are now looking to appoint a Territory Manager (SA / NT / Tasmania) who will report into the National Sales Manager.

**Key Responsibilities & Attributes**:

- Develop and implement a territory plan to maximize sales opportunities for your territory and distributor base
- Seek new business opportunities in line with the stated year plan
- Achieve sales and profit targets with a particular focus on turnover, gross margin and cost to serve customers
- Ensuring that the customer relationship management (CRM) system is updated on a daily basis and accurately reflects existing customer and prospects' records
- Develop strong business relationships with all internal teams and other territory team members
- Proactively evaluate competitor and "general market" promotional activity for the purposes of developing "new" activity as well as sharing learnings within the team
- Participate in customer promotional activities, trade shows, field days and conferences including weekend or after business hours events
- The successful applicant will have face-to-face sales experience and be hungry to further their sales career no matter what stage of your career you are at. Applicants with technical sales experience or mechanical background in industrial or in any area will be well regarded
- You will be passionate about serving existing customers and growing new business also. A resilient, confident and self-motivated individual is sought in order to deliver the greatest bottom-line benefit to the company
- Computer literacy including Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- Ability in achieving set Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Customer service focused
- Proven relationship management skills
- Work well autonomously
- Strong time management
