**CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY COORDINATOR**

We have an opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications department as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator working part-time at our Newcastle office. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for collaborating with the CSR employee resource group/committee, the brand team and leadership team to co-ordinate the creation and delivery of a CSR strategy.

**Your main duties will include**:

- ** Engaging Others**

Makes it easy for people to get involved in CSR activities. Encourages the long term learning and development of others in order to make CSR part of everyone's knowledge and skill set.
- ** Influencing**

Gains support for the CSR agenda by persuading and convincing others. Understands others and influences them in a way that results in acceptance, agreement or behaviour change. For example, is able to persuade people to be involved in CSR without needing to use company hierarchy.
- ** Operational**

Ensures the CSR strategy goals are met by working with other internal teams (marketing & communications, people & culture) to support the club's objectives

Organises and schedules events, activities and resources. Sets up and monitors schedules, timescales and plans. In particular, is able to bring the CSR strategy to life using personal conversations, organising CSR activities and actively linking new/existing activity to CSR.
- ** Data Gathering**

Gathers data, analyses issues and breaks them down into their component parts. Makes systematic and rational judgements on success of CSR activities based upon relevant information.

Your profile

**Ideally, you'll have**:
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Previous CSR experience within a corporate environment
- Knowledge in the field of sustainability and corporate and societal responsibility;
- Ability to co-ordinate of several ongoing projects
- Ability to establish a mechanism and strategy to engage employees.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to assist the club's liaison with charities and supporters.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all colleagues, committees and senior team.
