**Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and maintain a training and capability skills maintenance program tailored to the needs of CFS Inspectors, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Design training modules and materials covering core skills and competencies required for effective performance in the role, including legislative knowledge, notice writing, on-site management, and exercise of inspector powers.
- Implement training programs using a variety of delivery methods, such as workshops, seminars, mentoring, online modules, and practical exercises.
- Consult, coordinate, and cooperate with capability providers and technical units within the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) to ensure effective delivery of programs and resources to support inspector training and development.
- Provide ongoing capability support to the Programs area, including assisting with the identification of training needs, developing training plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Offer guidance and advice to CFS Inspectors on skill development opportunities and resources available to enhance their capabilities.

- Develop strategies and initiatives to reinforce and refresh essential skills, including regular refresher courses, scenario-based training exercises, and peer
mentoring programs.
- Work with OlR's Workforce Capability Unit to ensure record keeping and staff capability profiles remain up to date.
