The Capability Partner - Leadership & Talent (Retail Bank) works to deliver and continually improve the talent management and leadership development programmes for the Retail Bank.

This role works within our Banker Capability team and owns and innovates the Retail Bank leadership development and talent management programmes. These initiatives work to enrich our people and drive exceptional customer experiences, with a particular focus on the needs of our unique franchised branch network. The role also works closely with the Group Organisational Development team to co-design, contextualise and deliver group-wide leadership programmes; ensuring they are fit for purpose for the Retail Bank audience.
- Key responsibilities will include:_
- Own, innovate and coordinate our key retail bank talent and development initiatives (including our Franchise talent pathway and Women in Franchise programme)
- Build, coordinate and continually innovate a fit for purpose Professional Development Program for franchisees in line with business and customer priorities
- Analyse and enhance the attraction and recruitment practices for franchisees to support the sustainable growth of a diverse franchisee network
- Prepare and coordinate onboarding programmes for new Owner Managers and Branch Managers
- Consult across the Retail Bank to scope leadership development needs and solve in line with the Enterprise Capability strategy
- Provide manager debriefs on psychometric assessments as part of selection process and high potential programs
- Build artefacts that support translation of group wide employee lifecycle initiatives for Retail Bank

Co-design and deliver BOQ Group leadership development, culture and engagement programmes to the Retail Bank as required

**About you**
To be considered for this role, you should have the following attributes, skills and/or experience:

- A deep drive for driving business performance and customer experience through people initiatives
- Relevant qualifications in organisational psychology, adult education or human resources
- Experience in a leadership development and/or talent management focused role in a retail, franchise, banking or service business (desired)
- A consultative business partnering style
- Engaging classroom and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience in interpreting and debriefing psychometric assessments
- Resourceful and proactive in seeking information
- Comfort with ambiguity
