WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As the Brand Planning & Operations Lead within the Pacific Marketing team you will be responsible for setting and aligning our priorities across the brand in partnership with the Nike Pacific Marketing Leadership team. You will have the ability and initiation to work with non-routine information and develop recommendations for ideas or services. You will have skills to develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results. Problem solving skills are essential to implement solutions with the ability to foresee most future implications, as is having the required skills to understand complex work, such as in-depth knowledge or conceptual thinking.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will work and align on long-term and seasonal strategies and on-going operations to allow the Marketing team to execute with excellence. Stewarding the effective and efficient management of Nike brand priorities and budget. You will be responsible for creating systems, processes and tools that positively impact productivity, profitability, accountability, and the service of the greater marketing organization.
The role takes the lead for marketing in critical enterprise process (CODE) and marketing functional moments and milestones, ensuring clarity in our marketing direction, clear decisions that enable our priorities to be structured and implemented, and measurement of our brand performance that fuels continuous learning and improvement.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
This role works directly with the Nike Pacific Senior Marketing Director and a variety of cross functional partners within Marketing, Marketplace, and Merchandise team. You will serve as key partner across the Marketing Leadership team, organising the operations of our brand initiatives. This role serves as a key point of contact and liaison for the Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) Brand Planning & Operations team.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience in a creative, fast-paced & complex marketing environment
- Proven ability to shape consumer insights and industry trends into actionable strategies
- Strategic and analytical mindset: Innovative problem-solving ability, leveraging multiple sources of input.
- Process rigor: Developed skills in brand management & marketing strategy, plus general skills across finance, data/analytics and ability to drive work to with end-to-end impact
- Proven ability to drive collaboration and integration with cross-functional teams, providing strong project management leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentations skills; ability to inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
