Overview
Financial Accountant at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Joondalup Campus. Salary: $95,310 to $102,830 per annum (HEW 6) plus 17% superannuation. Employment type: Full-time, Fixed Term (12 months).
Responsibilities
As part of the Financial Services Team, work with the Team Leader, Management Reporting and Treasury Operations to maintain internal controls and support the preparation of financial statements.
Provide efficient and effective delivery of financial accounting and related client services.
Assist with the maintenance and administration of the Oracle Financial and Procurement applications.
Qualifications
Degree in a relevant field (typically Commerce, Business or Management) with a major in Accounting and a professional accounting qualification.
Relevant experience in financial accounting processes and assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements for a medium to large organisation.
Understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience with financial policies administration.
