Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Manage petty cash and corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Perform internal and external stakeholder correspondence.
  • Generate end-of-month reports and journal entries.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and amortize schedules.
  • Provide administrative support for accounts-related tasks as directed by the Financial Controller.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with high-volume transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of AP/AR/Payroll processes and MYOB AccountRight accounting system.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and provide support to management and the accounting department.
  • Bonus points for understanding of the mortgage industry or banking.
