Yes Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join its team. The Housekeeping team leader will be responsible for managing and leading the housekeeping team and complying with YHG's standards.

Our client is based in the Essendon Fields. Be a part of our growing team to gain your experience and knowledge to work and expose your talent within 3 or 4 star hotel.

**The role**:

- Ensure that the team is cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms and common areas to YHG's highest standards.
- Able to clean rooms when the level of occupancy is low
- Inspect all assigned areas to ensure that the standards are met and maintained
- Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed
- Handle guest concerns promptly, communicating with others where necessary
- Able to update and send housekeeping reports to management
- Monitor the Quality Assurance practices
- Oversee workplace health and safety procedures

**About you**:

- A minimum of 1-year experience in the above position will be preferred
- Fully vaccinated against COVID 19
- Speak English fluently
- Good problem solver
- Strong leadership skills
- A hands-on approach to work
- Good time management skills
- Computer literate

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southbank, VIC 3006: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
