Two Men and Truck is one of Australia's most trusted companies for local and interstate removals. Providing services up and down the East Coast of Australia, Two Men and a Truck prides itself on the consistently high level of service we provide to our clients.

To manage our growing client based in **Canberra**, we are now looking for an Operations Manager to join our tight-knit team.

Focussed on the planning, operational, administrative and staffing activities within their territory, the Operations Managers will implement structures, policies and procedures to support business services.

Tasks will include:

- Resource booked work by scheduling staff and ensuring sufficient and maintained equipment and vehicles
- Analyse and review container management strategies and make changes as required
- Develop territory specific guidelines for all operations and circulate
- Team management: recruit, select, induct and train new employees and contractors, provide training and manage performance issues
- Financial: prepare quarterly budges and reports covering vehicle, equipment and operations costs

We are looking for a person with:

- either a degree qualification in a relevant field or commensurate experience (min 5 years)
- at least three years' experience in the removals and storage industry
- minimum two years' experience in operations management
- effective verbal & written communication skills
- organisational and problem solving skills
- leadership skills

We are offering a base salary of $80 000 + super. Excellent working conditions
