Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced facilities operations manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a modern commercial asset in Canberra's inner South.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to manage a premium asset while working closely with a senior facilities team and engaged clients. You will take full responsibility for ensuring the property runs seamlessly, delivering both technical excellence and outstanding service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all hard and soft services, ensuring compliance and best-practice standards.
  • Manage contractor performance across building operations, maintenance, and safety.
  • Build trusted relationships with tenants, responding promptly to issues and concerns.
  • Deliver sustainability initiatives in line with client targets.
  • Manage reporting and compliance obligations.
  • Champion service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You

You're a proven facilities management professional with experience in commercial office environments. You'll bring:

  • Experience in facilities or property management (commercial assets preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of building operations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and service providers.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail.
