An opportunity has become available for an experienced Team Leader in one of the maintenance teams within Local Government. This is a temporary full time position working a 9 day fortnight 6:15am - 3:15pm (summer roster hours). To be considered for this role you must have leadership experience where you have lead or supervised a team.

**Applicants will need to have**:

- Concrete labouring experience
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White Card
- Current "c" licence
- Civil Construction evidence of experience
- Manual Handling experience/knowledge
- Dogger/Rigger Ticket
- Pipelaying experience

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Undertake road construction/maintenance work in accordance with organisational standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Operate and maintain machinery plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer's specifications and to organisational standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties within competency, skills and training as directed.
- Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures and follow directions from supervisor in respect of the health and safety of yourself and others.
