
Unified Communication Specialist

Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a Unified Communications (UC) Specialist to join our high-performing team at our Sydney head office. In this role you will serve as a key Subject Matter Expert in the UC technology stack, working on multiple projects & key BAU support activities. You will draw on your exceptional customer service & troubleshooting skills to support with business in Level 2 / 3 support issues within the UC domain.
**Top Role Accountabilities**:
- Acts as trusted advisor for Unified Communications technologies
- Build, configuration, maintenance & troubleshooting of the banks Unified Communication & Collaboration Services including:
- MS Teams Voice systems
- Genesys Contact Centre
- Video Conference & Audio-Visual systems (Polycom & Microsoft Teams)
- Teleconference & audio conference systems
- Trading Systems (Unigy & Verint)
- Session Border Controllers (Voice Security Gateways)
- PABX Voice systems
- Physical handset & Softphones
- Branch communication & telephony network infrastructure
- Physical handset & Softphones
- ASC recording system
- Lead & participate in projects Including the research & testing provisioning of new technology where required
- Collaborate in sprints & daily stand-ups, tackle blockers & deliver project tasks
- Liaise with external vendors as required
- Provide regular review, analysis & reporting of system availability
- Create & maintain technical documentation for new installations & systems changes
**To be successful you will have**:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Voice / Unified Communications / System Administration role
- Experience supporting MS Teams Voice & PABX systems
- Experience in the administration & configuration of Contact Centre systems with Genesys Contact Centre knowledge preferred
- Experience with telephony infrastructure including AudioCodes SBCs
- Experience supporting voice recording platforms
- Advanced troubleshooting skills & experience
- Experience supporting trade floor environments
- Sound technical documentation skills
- An understanding of ITIL frameworks & principles & change processes
- An understanding of Project Management methodologies such as Prince 2 or Agile/Scrum
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
- Willing & able to be on call when required
