**ICT Security Specialist Needed**

UNIFIED COMMUNICATION PARTNERS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced ICT Security Specialist for a full-time contract position, with the potential for extension to a permanent role.
- Position: ICT Security Specialist
- Salary: $85,000.00 plus Super
- Hours: 38 hours per week
- Mode: Full-time
- Location: Unit 20/11-21, Underwood Road, Homebush, Sydney NSW 2140
- Experience Required: Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities included but not limited to**:

- Collaborate with clients to develop, maintain, and refine security guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct system audits, performance analysis, firmware/software upgrades, and preventive maintenance as needed.
- Install, configure, test, and commission network intrusion detection systems and video surveillance systems.
- Plan, install, and manage firewalls as part of clients' electronic security networks.
- Install and configure electronic security network devices and systems, such as IP cameras, and implement network redundancy to maintain system availability and resilience.
- Configure routers, switches, and firewalls, build servers, and set up virtualization environments.
- Research and identify security trends that could present emerging risks to the company.

- Enthusiastic and driven security professional.
- Stay informed on trends and issues in the security industry, including current and emerging technologies.
- Strong, verifiable IT-related security skillset.
- Well-developed writing skills with experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Passionate about security.

**To Secure This Role, You Will**:

- Possess a relevant university-level qualification, at least at the degree level.
- Have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience since earning your qualification.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, set goals, and work determinedly to achieve them.
- Communicate effectively and work well within and across teams.

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
