Westpac is embarking on a bold new venture to expand its Digital Banking team into Southeast Queensland. We are reimaging our digital platforms to deliver the best customer experience in the market and are set to build a team of exceptional software engineers to innovate, experiment and deliver cutting edge technology into the hands of millions of millions of our customers.

**How will I help?**

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Change Delivery team within the Consumer and Business Banking Technology division.

As the Project Coordinator you will provide 1st line coordination and administration support to our Change Delivery team. You will work with members of the Change Delivery team to support our Consumer and Business Banking Technology Engineering Practice Strategy which aims to build our engineering workforce capabilities and enable our work sites to facilitate our future hybrid workplace.

You will be working directly on the Gold Coast Engineering Hub Workforce and Workplace project. This project expands our Digital Banking team into Southeast Queensland. You will further provide coordination and administration support on broader change initiatives across our Consumer and Business Banking Technology portfolio.

This role would suit an energetic, enthusiastic, methodical, and super organised individual who thinks of their feet and is adaptable to a broad range of stakeholders.

**Core Responsibilities in the role include**:

- Assisting the Project Delivery team to deliver project activities in accordance with the project plan by providing coordination and administration support including setup, execution, control, reporting of specific project tasks.
- Assisting in the tracking, management, approval and setup processes for project activities, resource requests, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding processes.
- Coordinating team meetings, including agenda, minute taking (as appropriate), book rooms, organising equipment.
- Prepare communications and draft content for change initiatives and BAU activities.
- Assisting in the approval process for funding requests, invoices etc.
- Manage change risk and compliance obligations.
- Act as primary point of contact for the team to assist and resolve ad-hoc queries and requests.
- Support ad-hoc requests for team information from HR, finance, property etc
- Inventory management for Mobile devices and technology.
- Keep team up to date with Group news, operational bulletins, releases and changes to support technology and other areas of the business.

**What do I need?**
- An interest in technology and a passion for customer service.
- Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a team support role working on or assisting projects and providing a broad spectrum of project coordination and administrative assistance.
- Prior understanding of Westpac systems/processes (specifically WEAPS, PeopleHQ/PeopleXpress,eForms) would be an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Growth mindset and not afraid of a challenge.
- Self-motivated individual who enjoys working in strong, collaborative team environments.
