- About the Role:
Our Community Fundraising team are looking to appoint an exceptional Event Coordinator in a permanent full time capacity to join their Blackburn, Melbourne team. If you have strong organisational skills and an eye for detail we would love to hear from you
_National Event Manager_ and other event coordinators to support all logístical and resourcing requirements for major supporter events nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Events Manager and other Event Coordinators to manage and support all major events
- Ensure event database is kept up to date and current
- Manage vendor relations (venues, caterers, suppliers etc)
- Manage all supporter elements of an event including invitations, registrations and special requirements
- Manage event logistics (gifts, decor, seating, budgets etc)
- Support with building event tools, processes and procedures
- Ensure all compliance requirements and permits are met
- Assists with reporting requirements to all stakeholders
- Support the Event Manager and other Events Coordinators in delivering the national framework and event strategies
About you:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in events, fundraising, communications, public relations or marketing
- Previous experience with event management platforms is preferable e.g. Cvent
