About the Role
We're looking for an experienced HR leader to step into a pivotal interim role, guiding our people strategy across retail, distribution, logistics, and professional audio.
Reporting to the
Managing Director
the Interim Group Human Resources Manager has a hands on role and is responsible for leading and managing all human resources functions across the group of companies. Your team consists of a HR Business Partner and a HR Administrator.
This is a full-time role between October 2025 and July 2026. It is based in Riverwood, and we are relocating to Alexandria in April 2026. Typically, our teams work 4 days on site, with 1 day WFH.
There may a small interstate travel component, and occasional site visits to our locations around Sydney as needed.
Regular Duties Include:
Provide strategic HR leadership, partnering with executives and managers to drive growth, engagement, and efficiency.
Oversee performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
Champion a positive workplace culture and support fair, consistent employee relations.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, Industry Awards, and WHS requirements across all business units.
Lead, develop, and support the HR team to deliver people-first outcomes.
Manage HR-related change, lead projects and organisational initiatives with a steady, people-focused approach.
About You - Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Pyschology or a related field
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior HR role, with a track record of leading HR functions across multiple business units.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, WHS regulations, and best practices in HR.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business performance and employee engagement.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively
Proven experience in retail is highly desirable.
