Director of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance

Job Description:
Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber risks, and develop strategies to improve our overall cybersecurity posture.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity, and make recommendations for their implementation.
Mentor and develop junior professionals in cybersecurity-related skills and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including knowledge of frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and drive business growth through effective cybersecurity practices.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
