About the Role:

The Cybersecurity Architect plays a pivotal role in supporting the Victorian Health Sector's cybersecurity uplift.

This role provides deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture and complex procurement.

The Architect will ensure continuity of strategic cybersecurity initiatives, mitigate delivery risks, and maintain momentum on high-priority programs.

Key responsibilities include assisting and supporting the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer with the implementation of the Victorian Health Sector's Cyber Strategy 2025–2030 and its delivery plan.

Operational experience with tools such as Endpoint detection, vulnerability management, Security Information and Event Management, and firewalls is necessary.

Meeting service objectives, including financial, quality, and time-related targets for programs or major projects is crucial.

Qualifications and specialist expertise required include a post-graduate certification in cyber security or ICT, Information Security, and Victorian Health Sector experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of network architecture principles, design, and implementation, as well as business analysis experience, defining requirements for technical cyber security procurements.

A sound understanding of business architecture design and aligning technology capability to business needs is also essential.
