Director of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance

Cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field that requires strong leadership and strategic vision. As a Director of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance, you will play a key role in driving our cybersecurity strategy and ensuring the security and integrity of our organization.

  • Job Description:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber risks, and develop strategies to improve our overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  • Mentor and develop junior professionals in cybersecurity-related skills and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including knowledge of frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive business growth through effective cybersecurity practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
